Today is American Idol Kris Allen's 24th birthday! Happy Birthday Kris!
What an incredible year this has been for Kris -- marriage to his high school sweetheart, Katy, and then coronation as 2009 American Idol.
Our sense, too, is that as amazing as this year has been for the newest American Idol, there are many more wonderful years ahead.
Right now Kris is busy -- with the Top 10 contestants of Season 8 as they prepare for the American Idol 2009 tour which kicks off on July 5th.
