American Idol judge Paula Abdul sent fans one brief Twitter message late on Tuesday.
Her message to fans: "Hey guys, I have not made a deal w/#IDOL. Don't know how that rumor for started but it's not true as I still haven't heard from producers." By 6:30 p.m. EST Wednesday, no additional messages had been posted.
Earlier Abdul sent several messages chatting with her fans and expressing appreciation for their support as she waits for a contract proposal for returning to the popular television show.
